Brokerage Event
The Innovation Relay Centre Network (IRC Network)
is a European network whose main mission is to support innovation and
transnational technological co-operation with a range of specialised
business support services. The first Innovation Relay Centres were
established in 1995 with the support of the European Commission. The aim
was to create a pan-European platform to stimulate transnational
technology transfer and promote innovation services.
Today, 71 regional IRCs span 33 countries: 25 EU
Member States, Bulgaria, Romania, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland,
Turkey and Chile. Most IRCs are operated by a consortia of qualified
regional organisations such as Chambers of Commerce, Regional
Development Agencies and university Technology Centres. Altogether,
nearly 230 partner organisations are involved, ensuring wide geographic
coverage.
According to these objectives, the IRC Network is
supporting the celebration of the brokerage event related to hydrogen
and fuel cells, during the 2nd European Hydrogen Energy
Conference and the 2nd Professional Meeting on Hydrogen and
Fuel Cells. The purpose of the brokerage event is to create a meeting
point for technological requests and technological offers. These
meetings will be the seed for future partnerships for reaching
technology transfer agreements.
