About the Spanish Hydrogen Association
The Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) is a non-profit organization that represents around 400 partners across the entire value chain of the hydrogen industry in Spain.
Since its foundation in 2002, the AeH2 has been working to encourage, promote, and foster the development of hydrogen-based technologies, recognizing its fundamental role in the transition to a sustainable, carbon-free energy model through innovation and job creation.
The AeH2 actively collaborates with the public and private sectors, including national, regional, and local public administrations, to ensure the inclusion of hydrogen in strategic plans and the formation of a regulatory framework in Spain.
This collaboration has resulted in several documents of great national significance, such as the Draft Bill on Climate Change and Energy Transition, the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030 (PNIEC), and the Spanish Hydrogen Roadmap.
